Mystery surrounds Mozart's moving final masterpiece, his unfinished 'Requiem', dictated from his deathbed in 1791, and here performed by the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields under conductor Carlo Rizzi, with Californian soprano Cyndia Sieden and tenor Mark Wilde. Programme also includes Mozart's Overture from 'The Impressario'; 'Vorrei Spiegarvi, Oh Dio!'; 'Nehmt meinen Dank, ihr holden Gonner'; 'Io non chiedo', 'Eterni De', 'Der Hölle Rache' from 'Popoli di Tessaglia'.
