Friendly Fires and Foals unite to present an exclusive mix for Time Out

What do you get when you cross the drummer from Friendly Fires with the keyboardist from Foals and an all-round 'musical renaissance man'? A huge heap of Deep Shit, that's what. The trio of Jack Savidge, Edwin Congreave and Adam Parylak may be responsible for some of the danciest indie beats around but on their radio show on hip east London station NTS – which is called, you guessed it, Deep Shit – they veer into an exploration of weird, wonky and hypnotic techno-house music.

In February 2012, they'll spin this vision into a party at Plastic People too, the first of which boasts Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs on the decks. And to celebrate, they given Time Out an exclusive mix starring the likes of Floating Points, Kink and Thugfucker.
