Time Out says

Bored of hearing about twerking? Searching for more underground dance moves? Get your head and feet round house dance, a style that originated from – where else – Chicago, combining elements of footwork and other street dance styles. For the last four years, D-LO, AKA David Vilo, has been hosting house dance parties in London, attracting some of the finest movers from the UK and beyond to battle it out in serious style. And it's not just house that competitors dance to, you'll hear hip hop, Afrohouse and boogie, amongst other styles.

The annual finals of House Dance UK are spread over two days this year, with the first instalment at Shoreditch's The Light, and the final finals, and a house dance workshop, held the following day at Madame Jojo's. DJs include Veusty, Matt L-S and Greg Gauthier, and judges include last year's winner, Babson.
