Peppermint Jam’s Mousse T takes charge of the first of a fresh series from MN2S (they’re back at The End on Friday) and his is a game of two halves: upfront, dirty, techy electro-house on CD1 and an after-party mix of summery, soulful house classics (including his own ‘Sing It Back’ mix for Moloko) on CD2. There are more long-familiar tunes than you might expect (Lil’ Louis’ raunchy ‘French Kiss’and the jumpy electro vocals of The Jackals’ ‘Jack Ain’t Back’) alongside upfront stuff like Tom Novy’s ‘Horny’ remix, Fairmount’s (instru)mental ‘Gazebo’ and ‘Dust’ by Recloose.
