London's clubbing cognescenti pick their DJ tips for the top in 2012
From Skrillex to James Blake, 2011 was rich with new electronic producers creating unexpected dancefloor smashes. Time Out Clubbing looks ahead to the new year and asks some of the capital's nightlife linchpins who they are hyping for superstardom next. Who do you think is missing from the list? Tell us in the comments box below.
13. Hackman

Chosen by Jack Savidge, DJ, Friendly Fires: ‘I first heard him on his stellar 'Close' 12-inch for the ever-wonderful Greco-Roman label. It combined a garage-y bump 'n' flex to oriental melodic touches, with a yearning androgynous diva vocal (actually an Alicia Keys sample masculinised by pitch-bending). The B-side 'Your Face Pulling My Hair' and his latest remix for Charlie XCX have a distinctly eerie tonality and mood that to me is totally unique right now.’ www.soundcloud.com/hackman
