Time Out says

This 11-acre complex on Shoreditch’s Brick Lane was home to London’s largest brewery until 1989, before being converted into an arts hub comprising galleries, events spaces, studios and offices for the area’s many creatives during the 1990s. These days it is a bustling tourist attraction comprising of bars, street-food stalls, vintage and antiques markets and the ever-popular Rough Trade East record store, while its sprawling exhibition hall host a huge variety of cultural events, from the Other Art Fair to the London Coffee Festival.
