It may be small, but this excellent Brixton bar-club punches well above its weight. Refurbished after a fire in 2009, Plan B's flow of hip hop and funk stars resumed with a kicking relaunch weekend that featured DJ sets from Hot Chip and Goldie.
It's since continued to go from strength to strength, with the varied programming - you might find A Guy Called Gerald hosting a night of forward-thinking electronica, Don Letts spinning vintage reggae sides or live sets from all manner of acts - bolstered by a powerful Funktion 1 sound system.
The venue's in proud possession of a 24-hour drinks licence, which means the action here can go on long into the night.
