Think you’re the ultimate comedy fan? Could you handle more than 100 hours of stand-up in just two weeks? Then you might be exactly who the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Awards team are looking for.

Each year, the judging panel for the most prestigious prize in comedy consists of industry professionals – radio producers, journalists, TV execs – plus three comedy-loving members of the public.

You’ll need to have tons of energy and be a passionate, regular punter of the live comedy scene. The FECA gang will provide you with accommodation, travel, show tickets and the odd party invitation. Interested? Read the full details (and terms and conditions, of course) below about how to enter. Closing date is Wednesday May 6 2015. Good luck!

How to enter
1 Tell the FECA team in approx 350 words why you are the best candidate.
2 Write three short reviews of your three favourite live comedy acts.
3 Entries must reach the FECA team by May 6 2015. If you are shortlisted, you will be required to attend an informal interview in London on eitherJune 2 or 3 2015 (subject to change). Travel expenses will be reimbursed. Send your entry to assistant@comedyawards.co.uk, or Edinburgh Comedy Awards Panellist, 11 Maiden Lane, London. WC2E 7NA.
