Carpet Remnant World claims to be a show about nothing, with no structure or narrative. In reality, Lee satirises and deconstructs comedy itself and sarcastically takes pops at modern stand-ups including Frankie Boyle, Russell Kane and his ex-comedy partner Richard Herring. This is a playful, cerebral and truly original 90 minutes of comedy from one of the world's most consistently brilliant exponents of stand-up. He's just about the finest funnyman out there.

I'm a Stewart Lee fan, I wear my refusal to read the Daily Mail or the Sun as a badge of honour. I occupy a different intellectual plane than you uneducated, bigoted proles. I enjoy reflexive humour that satirises stand up as an entertainment medium because, even though it's not funny, my enjoyment of it reinforces my sense of superiority over all of you racist normalos.
