Sam Simmons – Shitty Trivia

We love bonkers Aussie surrealist Sam Simmons. He's relentlessly silly, super inventive and hysterically funny. Rather than flying half way across the globe to play the Edinburgh Fringe (where he was nominated for the Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2011), Simmons is spending his summer in London, performing his brand new show 'Shitty Trivia'. It'll be a wonderfully absurd hour of questions with no answers. 'You'll learn nothing, but you'll look at the world differently,' he promises.

No exaggeration, the worst comedy I've ever witnessed. Every joke was met with thunderous silence. We left within 20 mins. DO NOT GO

Sam is incredible. This show won't be for everyone but if you like frenetic, highly imaginative surrealism (think Smell of Reeves & Mortimer) this will definitely do it for you.

SHITTY Trivia, the clue is in the name. Honestly Time Out, he bombed so hard tonight because his jokes aren't funny, several were (and he said this himself) homophobic, anti-semitic and mocking those with disabilities. Like an awkward version of bad joke chicken. If this had been mentioned in the review I wouldn't have touched it with a bargepole, sorry!
