A mixed bill of mixed success from talented kathak dancer Aakash Odedra. The performance includes a piece of quiet beauty by Russell Maliphant, one danced on a stage full of hanging lightbulbs by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (a case of concept over substance, that one) and a morphing, writhing solo by Akram Khan. It's a very impressive line-up of choreographers, for sure, but the work that actually makes best use of Odedra's talents turns out to be one he made himself.
