Excerpts of Walt Disney's 'Fantasia' (1940) and Disney's 'Fantasia 2000' are screened with live accompaniment by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. The repertoire includes Tchaikovsky's 'The Nutcracker Suite', Ponchielli's 'Dance of the Hours' – the one with the dancing hipppos – and Dukas's 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice', complete with onscreen action from Mickey Mouse and co.
