Dam Van Huynh, a finalist in last year's Place Prize who won the audience award every night of the competition, returns with a new work. 'Sudden Change of Event' is his first piece for his new company, made in collaboration with composer Leon Michener and vocalist E-laine. Previews earlier this year suggest the new piece is less obviously crowd-pleasing than Van Huynh's Place Prize piece, 'Collision', and more like the first step in a search for his own movement language.
