Time Out says Rate it

'Elixir' is a dance piece examining our relationship with water and the problem of dwindling resources. Choreographer Subathra Subramaniam, former co-director of Angika Dance Company, launched her new company Sadhana Dance with the aim of making thought-provoking dance works. Drawing on her experience as a science teacher, working with the Cape Farwell climate change project and visits to India and the Arctic, Subramaniam uses visual art, digital projection, song and bharata natyam dance to explore her chosen subject matter. The performance will be followed by a discussion between artists and scientists hosted by Quentin Cooper, presenter of Radio 4's 'Material World'.
