The Shakespeare Olympics begin April 22 at the Globe
A major season of works by pioneering choreographer Pina Bausch. Part of the Cultural Olympiad, the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch: World Cities 2012 season will see ten works performed over one month, each produced during a residency in a different city in the world between the years 1986 and 2009 - the year of Bausch's death. 'Ten Chi', meaning 'Next Time', is the product of a 2004 residency in Saitama, just outside Tokyo, and includes sprinklings of cherry blossom, whale fins, kabuki, kimonos and Japanese horror films. This is the work's UK premiere.
