'The Peony Pavilion' is a classic of Chinese opera. The 400-year-old story is often described as the Chinese 'Romeo and Juliet'. It stretches to nine hours in all. The company will be performing it in rotation with one three-hour chunk each night. The first cycle is Tuesday through Thursday, the second is Friday through Sunday.
