A performance art series curated by Siobhan Davies Dance. The name comes from the Freudian term describing a child losing and finding a loved object and all four commissions take on the idea of resolving social conflict. Three pieces will be shown together on Oct 26: Mark Wayman's 'Round the Box', a performance that takes the audience on a tour of Elephant and Castle roundabout; Adrian Lee's 'Tub-thumper', exploring the choreography of an evangelist preacher; and Adam James's 'I know you are but what am I?', using the techniques of live action role play to stage playground-style confrontations. The fourth piece is William Hunt's 'Mobile' (Nov 29), a giant mobile supporting the weight of five performers hanging from the roof of the Siobhan Davies Studio. Entry is free but advance booking recommended.
