Pierre Rigal: Game Over

French choreographer and former elite athlete Pierre Rigal's new work is based on his memory of the 1982 World Cup semi-final between France and West Germany, which Germany controversially won on penalties. Rigal tackles memory and mythology in the work that takes in the dramatic highs and lows of the match, from one of German football's greatest goals to a violent foul that left a French player unconscious.
