I have just watched Running on Empty at The Place. Well done to all involved with this piece. Loved the staging, lighting and atmosphere. I found the songs to be great compositions that were sung beautifully and sensitively. Revelled in the quality of the dance by Greig Cooke and Antonia Grove and the wonderful interaction between them both. Captivated by the speeches and music delivered in such an accomplished manner by Scott Smith. There were too many positives to mention them all here.

The excellent Antonia Grove, artistic director of Probe, combines dance, text and song in 'Running on Empty'. It's a piece that tells the story of 'Man, Woman and their repeated collision over time'. Collaborators include director Jo McInnes, writer Brad Birch, choreographer Charlie Morrissey and performers Scott Smith and Greig Cooke. Grove is a voice in the dance theatre world that's worth listening to.
