Zimbabwean choreographer Bawren Tavaziva has a talent for making dashing, dynamic dance that draws on both African and contemporary movement. He also has an interest in the bigger picture beyond the stage, as demonstrated in his uneven 2009 piece 'My Friend Robert', about Robert Mugabe. The theme (and the title) for this latest work is 'Greed', and Tavaziva intends to looks at money, power and relogion in Africa and the West. Whether the politics comes off or not, the dancing is bound to be good.
