The Measures Taken/The Grit In the Oyster

See what could be the next big thing in this night of works  by young budding choreographer Alexander Whitley who is branching out from an excellent career as a dancer for the likes of Rambert and Random Dance to create his own promising dance pieces. This bill of works from the Royal Ballet Choreographic Affiliate, features 'The Measures Taken', a piece where five dancers explore the interplay between light and air and 'The Grit In The Oyster.  Rutger Zuydervelt creates the immersive sound design for the former, while the latter is danced to music from Thomas Ades.
