Notting Hill Carnival Guide 2011

The Notting Hill Carnival 2011, the county's biggest street celebration of Caribbean music, dance and masquerade, takes place in west London over August bank holiday weekend (Sunday August 28 and Monday August 29).

A celebration of London's diverse and multicultural past and present, Carnival is a vivid spectacle of floats, steel bands, uplifting beats, from reggae and dub to salsa and soca, rippling from wobbling speaker stacks, jerk chicken and fried plantain food stalls and much, much more.
