If you've got a passion for the past, prepare to loosen your purse strings, as you step into Blitz – London's first vintage department store which opens on August 5 2011. As usual, Time Out's Shopping editor Dan Jones was first over the threshold, but you can take a look too with our exclusive video. General manager John Howlin gave us a sneak peek at the shop's stylish stock, including vintage Swatch watches, designer frocks, upcycled furniture and old-school Levi's. Plus, find out about Blitz's cafe, complete with Italian coffee served from half a stretched Fiat.

Hello all, the store listing had dropped off the page - it's been re-inserted. If you've visited the store already, let us know what you think!
Its on Hanbury Street, so nicely placed between Brick Lane and Spitalfields.
It would really help if this piece told me the address of this place.
My favourite vintage store is Bang Bang Clothing Exchange on Goodge St and also the other branch on Berwick St W1. Stylish, well presented, clean and reasonably priced clothes. Always leave happy!
Vintage is IN! Upcycling is IN! Super you're doing videos, even if they are slightly pixelated. But where is the store please? My favourite vintage stores are in Brick Lane
Who was that hot presenter? I want to see more of him.
