Richmond always has something on. It is home to the largest royal park in London, Richmond Park, a rambling heath famous for Kew Gardens and filled with deer. For those who prefer indoor pursuits, Richmond Theatre often features shows that will either go on to the West End, or West End shows that are going on to tour the country. If you fancy sipping a pint by the river, the pubs in Richmond are for you. The restaurants specialise in delicious European fare for a great price, though there are exotic gems like the lovely Japanese and Korean restaurant Matsuba.
