Pitfield Street is plonked in a prime location: just off the expensive Shoreditch triangle, five minutes from Old Street station and within spitting distance of every trendy bar in east London. But while the rest of the postcode got spruced up, Pitfield Street remained stubbornly grotty, without a decent shop or café to its name. It's since shed its former image, and now features some fantastic shops including a glossy hairdressers, a designer tattoo parlour and the launch of a truly gorgeous interiors store with a glorious café.
