What’s the best/worst thing about being a comedian?

‘Not having a real job is the best thing, I hate real jobs. So there isn’t much that’s bad.’

What’s the most memorable heckle you’ve received?

‘A guy once called me a twat before I had even got to the mic. Hardly clever, but certainly memorable.’

What’s been your best gig?

‘At a recent show in Liverpool there were 50 guys from British Gas on their work Christmas party. They were an absolute fucking joy.’

And your worst…?

‘Being told to fuck off by 1500 people one night. It was kind of good, though.’

What’s your favourite children’s joke?

‘I have no idea. I don’t meet many children. Immature adults by the hundreds. But no children…’
