  • Mary Katrantzou for Topshop

From Fri Feb 17, 214 Oxford Street, London, W1W 8LG

Mary Katrantzou must feel awfully at home at Topshop. The print designer has come up with no less than three collections for the high street mega-store and this, her third, is the most ambitious to date. Launching to coincide with the start of LFW, the ten-piece capsule line should tempt the fashion pack away from the catwalk with its bold, clashing prints and oriental and floral motifs. We’re particularly in awe of Katrantzou’s statement mini dress that’s cut like a vase with a high neck, narrow body and structured skirt. Genius. Available in-store and online. Price range: £40-£350. • Yayoi Kusama

    Feb 9-Jun 5, Tate Modern

Admired for both her polka-dot-heavy work and her unique sense of style, artist Yayoi Kusama has long been admired by the fashion world. So the 82-year old's well-timed retrospective at Tate Modern is generating more than a murmur of anticipation among the fashion clan jetting in for Fashion Week. Expect to spot a few familiar faces among the crowds at the show – that is, if you can tear your eyes away from Kusama's mesmerising work. If you can't make it, sit tight and wait for the forthcoming Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama collaborative line due this summer. On during London Fashion Week. View the listing
