When is Easter?
In 2012, Easter takes place between April 6-9. Both Good Friday (April 6) and Easter Monday (April 9) are Bank Holidays in the United Kingdom, although the Monday isn't a public holiday in Scotland.

Easter marks the most important festival in the Christian calendar, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ (Easter Sunday), three days after he was executed (Good Friday).
