The official synopsis of Ridley Scott's return to sci-fi, which stars Guy Pearce, Charlize Theron and Time Out hero Michael Fassbender as the resident android, describes it as ‘a journey to the darkest corners of the universe’.
A late opening of the zoo every Friday during June and July, with food and drink options, Twisted Cabaret and a silent disco so as not to scare the animals.

The first of the annual temporary pavilions and event spaces to be built largely underground, designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron, in collaboration with Chinese artist and activist Ai Wei Wei.
The hugely popular mysterious movie happening returns for weeks of interactive and live cinema fun. As usual, the film and theme is kept hush-hush until the day, but you can expect live music and DJs, hundreds of actors who recreate the film as you stumble across the set, food stalls and a impressive set decoration.
Street food from around the world comes to the Southbank Centre. Market stalls serve up an array of international cuisine, most of it cooked in front of you while you wait. There's also live music from singer/songwriters to add to the atmosphere.
The leftfield one-dayer returns with a line-up which includes The Vaccines, Franz Ferdinand, Sleigh Bells, Mazzy Star, Metronomy, Beirut, Hudson Mohawke, Baxter Dury, Andrew Bird, Gold Panda, Errors, Modeselektor and many more.
Selfridges is once again opening up its rooftop terrace - the store has invited Daylesford Organic to serve up afternoon tea, and asked bonkers food experimentalists Bompas & Parr to create a crazy golf course.
Expect mass sing-alongs to the electro-house hit machine's auto tune anthems, maniacal screaming, heart signs in the air from the glossy-haired one and a hot damn impressive stage show with intergalactic dancers and an explosion of LED lights across his four decks 'n' FX set-up.

An exhibition of large-scale sculptures by the British artist. Intended by Moore to be situated outdoors - subject to the effects of changing light, seasons and terrain - the forms are on display in a gallery setting for the first time, where, it's hoped, their mammoth proportions will be more keenly felt.
Galaxy-conquering popsters, gimpy dancers (well, one of them) and mates of Jay-Z (ditto) hit the most mahoosive of enormo-domes, playing principally from their latest (fifth) album, 'Mylo Xyloto'.

Good stuff. My city, Rio, would benefit from such a wonderful site designed especially for it, as Time Out New York and London. Since Rio will be the next home for the Olympics, it would be fair enough to have a time out here.
I will be in the City of London in june and such a hot list will be very helpfull, especially for a newcomer like me.
I can safely say without fear of hyperbole that the Time Out London Hotlist is the greatest thing of any kind ever.
Including exclusive offers and tickets, the best events, news, competitions and giveaways.
