I complained above about the non-arrival of my membership etc, I contacted TasteLondon who were very apologetic and said it had been sent out the day I signed up. Next day, there it was in the post, I can't where it has been lying in the postal system for nine days! But ayway I am now looking forward to gicing it to my son at Christmas

Oh my god! Just been to Mint Leaf and had the most amazing food for 4 of us and saved nearly £50. I can't get over the fact that I can now get 50% off there I am going to be going every day LOL!!!
It's the first time I have used my card from the trial and I think it's immense!!!!
Thanks Time Out, what a brilliant idea.

I signed up for Taste London at the Good Food Exhibition at Olympia over a week ago and although I was promised it would arrive by last Thursday, I am still waiting. The money has been taken out of my account.

The first time I tried to use my card was at Turquoise which is in the restaurant book thing, I got there and the place had shut down!!! what a disaster.
The following week I decided to give it another go and made sure I checked the Taste London website (it seems there are some number of restaurants in the book that are no longer) i decided on Ooops Restaurant as it's not far from my work it's 50% OFF the food and there were 4 of us, amazingly, we saved nearly £70. Oops is a real gem of a restaurant, high end mediterainean food without pretension and I will ceratinly be going back with my card lot's.
After a faltering start (initially i thought I had been conned) I can safely say that my Taste London card has become a treasured possesion, it really is a great idea. Well done Time Out!!!

i have to say that i think my taselondon card is one of the best investments that i could have made. i have been a member for a year now and will deffo be renewing when my card expires! i make an average saving of about £30 - £50 every time i eat out using it. the offers on Top Table are all very well and good but they usually only give you about a 15% discount and are not available all of the time unlike tastelondon's. A word from the wise..... get a tastelondon card you will save £100's over your membership!

Malmaison is worth a visit, sometimes it can be rather quiet but it still doesn't lack an atmosphere. The food is exceptional and with the tastelondon discount its really quite cheap! It's exactly the type of place to take your g/f for a quiet romantic meal with your card.

Went to Artisan Restaurant (based in the The Westbury Mayfair Hotel) and I have to say it is very much equal to many Michelin starred restaurants that I have visited - to get 50% OFF with the Taste London card really is astonishing value. I would recommend buying a card just to use once at at this restaurant - there were 4 of us, and we probably saved well over £100!

Although I was initially drawn to taste london because of the fact that they have 500 restaurants, on closer inspection a lot of those are Slug and Lettuce / spagetti house and loads of poor quality restaurants. I bought a Treat Card recently and just used it at Benares (michelin starred indian restaurant). Although only a 25% discount on the total bill I still saved £65! So worth having a look!

In oz we have the entertainment card - a similar concept with the addition of helping charities. We're coming to london later in the year and looking out for cheap stuff. If anyone can make suggestions we'd love to hear about them...

I used my TaseLondon card for the first time last week with my hubby and a few friends, unbelievably saving over £150 accross the dinig party of 4 at Artisan in the the Westbury. I really can't recommend TasteLondon enough, I have certainly got the bug and can't wait to use it again asap.

I would really recommend Green Chilli in Hammersmith to everybody who has a tastelondon card (or even ones without)!!! The food is out of this world. And it's 50% off for groups, we dined as a table of 6 and saved a fortune - a real gem of a restaurant for curry lovers.
