    The End

    A hot date (literally)
Place to meet Gordon’s Wine Bar (47 Villiers St, WC2, 020 7930 1408). It’s underground, has no windows, most of the lighting is from candles, and it’s always rammed. Drinking haunts don’t come any hotter than Gordon’s in summer.
Where to eat CVO Firevault (36 Great Titchfield Street, W1, 020 7636 2091). The only restaurant in London that doubles up as a fireplace showroom.
What to do At Surrey Docks Farm (Rotherhithe St, SE16, 020 7237 1408) blacksmith Kevin Boys run classes in his forge where he shows you how to create your own hook. The most fun you can have with tongs and an anvil.
Later on Thanks to its industrial decor, The End (18 West Central Street, WC1, 020 7419 9199) resembles a steelworks, and the temperature certainly rises when the dancefloor is packed.
Where to end up The Dorchester (53 Park Lane, W1, 020 7629 8888) has a revamped spa for a relaxing and slightly sweaty end to the evening. Feature continues
