Bradley Taylor, owner of Taylor Taylor, Commercial Street, E1, and pioneer of Express Highlights, says:
‘If you’re pushed for time and want a quick treatment to revitalise dull, limp hair, your best bet is a colour gloss or clear gloss. Blondes can opt for a toner and brunettes for warm tones. The treatments take a maximum of 20 minutes to develop, so combined with a blow-dry you can be in and out of the salon within the hour. If you are looking for a speedy transformation at home, twist the front section of your hair around your straighteners and flick outwards for a little bit of instant
    1970s glamour.’

Philippe Dumont, founder of Nickel Spa for men, says:
‘For a good all-round facial treatment that can easily be fitted into a lunch hour try the Nickel Express Facial (£29), which will get skin feeling squeaky-clean in 30 minutes. For a quick skin pick-me-up at home try Nickel Mug Shot #3 peel-off vitality mask, and after a night on the town Morning After Rescue Gel will leave you looking fresh even if you’re nursing a hangover.’ Feature continues

Noella Gabriel, director of product and treatment development for Elemis, says:‘If you don’t even have time to go to the salon, create a mini-spa at home. Exfoliate using a salt scrub to cleanse and detox your skin at least twice a week. When you are in the bath apply a face pack for a few minutes once a week and remove with a warm flannel. If your skin is in need of a quick boost at work, break open a dose of Elemis Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules warmed between the hands and perform a simple facial massage. A good one to know about when you find you have an impromptu night out.’

Sarah Hussein, director of Urban Tanning, Battersea, says:
‘With the Jean-Paul Mist-On tan, a fine mist of sunless tanning solution containing bronzer covers your body in seconds and gives you an immediate golden brown colour. You must do some pre-tan preparation though – exfoliate before you leave the house if possible, as this helps give an even colour. Also make sure you have removed your make-up, and waxing should be done at least 48 hours prior to the treatment. Wear dark loose-fitting clothing and do not shower or exfoliate for 12 hours afterwards. The tan should last for about seven days and you can top up with a bronzing powder.’

Leighton Denny, London’s top nail technician, says:
‘If you’re too short on time to wait for your nails to dry, buff them instead. A shape and shine block buffer (available at chemists) gives you fast foolproof manicuring.’
