    A veritable homage to beds, this furniture store veers away from minimalism and instead celebrates the more traditional, grand, wooden, brass and four-poster designs. With a huge selection to choose from, bed frames will be reduced by up to 30 per cent, linens by up to 50 per cent and mattresses from the likes of Vi-Spring and Tempur will be up to 25 per cent off.

    Famous for its knowledge of leather, with an extensive selection of fine hides, Alma offers a range of contemporary hand-crafted furniture. Discounts are generous, with some bespoke and one-off pieces as much as 50 per cent off. Look out for the Rupert chair in long goat hair that was £1,500, down to £750, and the suede and hair-on-hide cushions which will start at £25.

    Both homeware and fashion goodies, from the home of practical style, will be reduced by up to 50 per cent. Highlights include the Winter Rose Frame bag down to £40 from £65, and the sturdy brown bowling bag at £50, originally £75 – perfect for carrying all your bits around town. If outdoor pursuits are more your thing though there is also a range of camping gear in the sale as well.

    At the Westwood sale "Reductions will start at up to 30 per cent off".
    I can't decide what that means.
