    One of the largest firms in London, this offers free collection and delivery on dry-cleaning, alterations, leather cleaning, curtains and repairs in the capital. For an indication of prices, a suit costs £8.95 to dry-clean, while upholstery is priced at £8 per kilo.

    Operating in most of London, Zoots will wash, iron or dry-clean your garments and soft furnishings at reasonable prices, offering free delivery if you take advantage of its weekly or fortnightly collection and delivery service. If it’s a one-off, same day collection (ring before 10am), the charge is £7. To give an idea of prices, a pair of trousers costs £3.45 to wash, £4.95 to launder (wash and iron) and £4.95 to dry clean. Want a pair of socks washed and ironed?
