Solving the clues
There are 40 original clues, plus three bonus clues. None of the clues are hidden in exhibitions or attractions with an entrance fee (although some places do ask for donations). Make sure you pick up any free maps or guides, and read all the plaques and signs carefully; everything you need to solve the clues is at their location. Remember: this is an excuse to explore the city, so don't worry if you're distracted from the trail. We're not going to hand out extra clues for nothing, but if you do find yourself utterly flummoxed, you can email queries to treasurehunt@timeout.com. Good luck!

a while! We did it in teams and it took us the weekend. such good fun!
I think it could all be done over a weekend (Sat and Sun) if you don't hang about and start early each day. Combine it with a river cruise to Greenwich - I went there by bus, but it took forever.
We are hoping to use the traesure hunt shortly but would like some idea of how long the sections (and/or the whole thing) would take? Any experienced hunters out there know?
