    41 Victoria Tower Gardens
West of the Houses of Parliament, in the garden in the shadow if the Victoria Tower, you will find a statue of Emmeline Pankhurst, leader of the Women's Social and Political Union, which campaigned for women's suffrage. On the right as you look at her is a smaller monument to her daughter Dame Christabel Pankhurst, but what is depicted on the left?
    Answer

    42 Lincoln's Inn Fields
A pleasant clue if the sun is out, because you can spend time sitting on the grass under blossom trees in London's largest public square. There are several statues within the fence, notably Richard Goulden's tribute to Margaret McDonald, with a bench at its base. But you're looking for a stone object that's outside the gates, but still within the square. We won't tell you much, but a date carved on the side says AD1861. There's also the inscription - but what does it say? The last word has been all but rubbed away, so you'll need a bit of deduction to complete the clue.
    Answer

    43 Tate Britain
Look for a Victorian picture by a man named Egg of a woman and a child sheltering under the Adelphi arches. On the wall behind her is a poster advertising ‘pleasure excursions’ to Paris. What day do they depart on?

a while! We did it in teams and it took us the weekend. such good fun!

I think it could all be done over a weekend (Sat and Sun) if you don't hang about and start early each day. Combine it with a river cruise to Greenwich - I went there by bus, but it took forever.

We are hoping to use the traesure hunt shortly but would like some idea of how long the sections (and/or the whole thing) would take? Any experienced hunters out there know?

Blinkin' strike - don't they realise there's a Treasure Hunt on? The Egg one is the only one I can't get. Help! I have all the other answers if you need to exchange. Though I'm worried I may have the Brompton Oratory one wrong because of what Richard said.
