There are loads fo free things to do in London, There is always the galleries and museums but i prefer the quirkier things like the small festivals or clubs i.e the British Origami society meets on Saturdays at the royal festival hall which is really good fun to go along to.
Is it possible to have a copy of Time Out anf/or maps of London mailed to me?!!! My sister & I are coming over from Canada this summer & I've hung on to my GREAT maps one of which I think is London's Time Out map of areas, tubes, etc.

Taik does not seem to be cheap at all, as I have read from all the other comments. This is not encouraging me to get out there and 'do it' as it were. While there is a credit crunch revloution going on, free needs to mean free.
Thats a pretty comprehensive list. But have you checked out londonfreeloader.com. They also have information on free events of all types in the capital.
Don't put stuff on the "FREE" page that isn't free! It's a con!
