i found it very poetic. it feels like whoever wrote it, has their own, not touristy, not popular, but their own idea of the city, and why not?
These sights are sooo boring! There are so many sights to choose from in London, why mention such mundane ones

dead exotic fish in the market at Godknowswhere, thats what i have been looking for, i will add it to the program when my parents will visit me. jeez
Your contrast to this had 5 bad sights, and including (from memory) a lonely family in an Aberdeen Angus Steakhouse gazing out of the window on a Saturday night.... thinking of it this week has often brought me to the brink of tears! The hope, the emotional tension, the distress... is this the most depressing mental image ever?!
