    La Rambla
This famous mile-long boulevard, which runs from Plaça de Catalunya to the Columbus Monument, is Barcelona’s most famous street and a microcosm of city life. There’s constant activity day and night and an evening stroll among the cafés, restaurants and flower stalls is a ritual for locals and visitors alike.

    Sagrada Familia
Still under construction after 100 years, this soaring, fantastical church is perhaps the world’s most beautiful building site and Barcelona’s emblematic landmark. The legendary Modernista architect Antoni Gaudí played a major part in the design, including the spectacular towers whose flowing forms look like melted wax.
