Hey, What about the Muswell Hill Festival next Sunday (13th) between 12-6. East Finchley Tube station (2 minutes walk) to cherry tree wood. Live bands, family events. Dogday are playing at 3:00pm. Its in aid of a local school for Cerebral Palsy. Get yerself up here. A great day out.
Hi, not listed here there is another really cool festival coming up on 5th September at the Horse Hospital: Alpha-ville 09, a new audiovisual arts festival that will bring together music, visuals, digital media and short films by Future Shorts. Check out the site: www.alphavillefestival.co.uk
first no africa day celebrations this year then the rise festival was cancelled and now the notting hill carnival is pending all thanks to our mayor boris. Am i missing something or is there a pattern here. Never trusted the man especially his heavy handed police at the last notting hill carnival.
I am proper disappointed that there wil be no RISE FESTIVAL, The Mayor has a great deal to answer for because i am sure he is one of the reason that funding was taken. He should have let this festival go on and find the funding from somewhere. It is the only Festival with different genre of music, there was something for everyone young, old even teenagers - BIG LOSS FOR THIS SUMMER
Theres no mention of the Carnival de pueblo. The big free latin festival in south london on the 2nd of Aug.
I havent been yet but im planning to this year. Anyone know if its worth going to?
Just wondering if anyone has any information on worthwhile things to do ant see for visitors to London of 4 adults 4 teenagers and 4 kids during the period 30 AUG AND 4TH SEPT
Hi,
Not listed on here, but the ben & jerrys Sundae Festival is on 25th & 26th July which is a great Family event on Clapham Common. Loads going on and some good bands, if you were a teenager in the 80's, you will probably enjoy The Human League who are playing on the Sunday.
Hi there ,
i would like to know if there is a main event company that organizes all these festivals , or each festival is organized by it proper team .
Thank you
