Why is Time out still colluding with Taste Card whose 50% offer only applies to couples . If you are a single beware you will be embarassed and refused . What makes me hopping mad is they have already had this pointed out to them and Pizza Express & Chez Gerard . I am not suprised as if you franchise out & contract in these days you can get away with anything. It appears some people and organisations don't understand ethics..

In the very old 'send in a postcard' days I won two competions. The second was a box of wine which I had to collect myself but never got because it had mysteriously gone 'missing' within the Time Out building...

No one is mentioning bestbuy but check it out in store and online i got 15% of a TV and online is nearly sold out. The stores are still full though so don't be afraid to give the stores a look!

Don't bother with the Piccadilly Institute free drink offer - unless you fancy being held outside in a queue while some bouncer and guestlist girl subject you to snooty looks and snotty talk. Which is clearly unavoidable given that the offer's only available during the 'happy hours' of Friday/Saturday 5-11pm.

I would strong disagree with some of the comments sugesting that the offers are all a con.I have won three times, and I don't have any friends working in the time out.I just enter the competitions and hope for the best,at the end of the day I don't have not to loose.

I have also won a few times most recently lovebox weekend tickets :) !!!

I agree with J, it is definitely not a con. I also apply for lot of timeout events and I win every so often. I win about 2 a year, which is not bad considering the amount of people that apply.
    Thanks very much Timeout!

I try and enter most of the Time Out comps and although I haven't won recently I have won tickets to various events several times in the past so definitely don't agree that it's a con
