Got a suggestion that would make this site better? We're listening. Please leave a comment below
On March 18 we launched this redesigned Time Out site. Our aim was to make it easier on the eye and easier to use. We’ve made the pictures bigger and simplified the search box. We’ve rearranged section pages and changed the look to tie in with the redesigned magazine. And we’ve added Google Maps to our vast database of listings and reviews.
But we haven’t finished yet. There are lots of really useful features we want to offer you and we’re hard at work developing them.
In the meantime we’d really appreciate your comments on what you think would make the site better, right now, from your personal point of view. It could be something really simple, or a really far-fetched wish. Either way, we’re listening.
Please leave your comments below, and thanks.

I'm using this feature because you don't seem to have any other way of communicating. Your music whats on feature I always took to be a bible of London music but its got a bit inaccurate recently. Turned up at Motherbar333 to see Ukalele Gangstas. Free in Time Out but they charged me £10. Turned up at Cargo last night for the free food/drink bash to launch their new restaurant. Time Out said 8.00. They laughed when we got there as they started at 6.00 and it was all gone!
How to get in this site a comprehensive list of London Club addresses (with closest tube/train station too)?
You used to publish it in the Magazine itself untill 3 weeks ago: you are advising now to refer to the website, but where is it?Same for all London Music venues' adresses.
Thanks in advance
Giuliano
in the last issue you advertized a free party with food and drinks at cargo. you also reccommend to arrive early. well, we arrived at 7pm but the entrance was subject to invitation (name on the guest list), we said that we read that the party was free in 'Time out' and they answered " for the public at 8pm". we went back at 8 but food was finished and we had to pay for drinks. we met lot's of people very disappointed like us. we won't go there anymore.
You could take off the references to Sedgefield boot sale in Catford - sadly it no longer exists as I found out when I traipsed out there at the weekend!
Nina - very sorry to hear about your frustrating day - i'll look into that map error.
Ruairi - great idea, a Time Out map with events and venues detailed on it is certainly in the pipeline
Regarding getting events listed earlier, this is also being looked at. It''s as Time Out creates it's listings by hand and tends to work to the schedule of the magazine, but we are certainly aware that looking further ahead will be welcomed by many. In music we do have the London Gig Guide which looks further ahead http://www.timeout.com/london/music/features/2116.html< br /> Thanks for your comments everyone,

Our 33rd wedding anniversary was quite ruined yesterday when we searched for St Cyprian's Church, going by the TO map! It showed the church next to the junction of Park Village East and Augustus Street - and not where it should have been, between Baker Street and Gloucester Place. We had trouble getting onto the Northern Line to reach Mornington Crescent Station - and then walked miles...up and down the roads looking for this church. By the time someone was kind enough to check it out on a map we realised there was no church of that name anywhere there.
We missed our concert , it was too late to find another - and had to return home miserable and disappointed; once again braving the trains full of frustrated passangers, football hooligans and drunks.

When you check movies within a radius of a post code, it used to show the theaters listed from closest to farthest from the post code which was very convenient. Now it is alphabetical. Could you change it back?
Pedal Pusher p52 will find less traffick should the Market Porter cycle route be used. It includes Haggerston Park and London Fields and a steep push over the Cat & Fiddle bridge over the canal.
Perhaps less splashing too?
If you could pull up a map of an area with all the things going on, the sights and the recommended restaurants, cafes and bars that would be cool.
how do i add my exhibition dates and info to your online art exhibition list? i have a show opening on May 20th at The Camera Club, London. thanks Petra Lisiecki
e will be visiting London end june from south africa and would like to be able to check what will be on at that timein order to plan and maximize our time.
i see others have requested this info too
Remove all reference to bumbling Boris and let's pretend it never happened.....
Is there no way to check further out than 14 days? I will be in London in July and would love to know what is going on then, especially with Classical Music and Theatre so thatI can plan my schedule and order tickets in advance.
Thank you all for the comments, we are listening. Specifically:
- postcode/location based search (angelie, joe) : we did some research before we removed it and it very few people seemed to be using it, so for the sake of simplicity we removed it with the intention of putting it into 'advanced search' however a technical issue has made that take a while - it will be in advanced search very soon. We'll certainly consider bringing it back into the main search if we continue to get comments. Meanwhile we're in the process of a full site redesign where we'll remodel the search again from scratch - and we know that looking at what's on in a certain location is a key way of navigating to content. Thanks for the comments Joe and angelie. keep your eye on the advanced search and give me your thoughts.
Print page (Donald Leigh): we'll definitely add this to the bug list, thanks for pointing it out Donald.
Shopping search (sparkle moore): "why can't you search shops like you can restaurants?" Good question and we're working on a solution to that, it's basically due to the way the information is stored - ie not in an events or restaurants database.
RSS (Humberto): We'll check the RSS feeds Humberto. we aren't aware of any issues. Which one in particular is giving you trouble?
Buy Tickets button (James): We know this is not ideal at present, but we are working on a better ticketing system. We do provide access to a massive range of providers and that is part of the problem.
Mood-based browsing (Tom): great ideas Tom, we are certainly looking at ways to facilitate navigation when you're in different moods eg active-vs relaxed, high-culture vs mindless entertainment. Thanks again for the suggestion, it confirms that fact that there is demand for this kind of thing.
Finally: If anyone reading this would like to be involved in some user-testing of the designs for a new Time Out London site please email me at onlineeditor@timeout.com
Thanks again for the comments
