This festival really does what it says on the tin - it's set in beautiful countryside miles from nowhere and nothing on the bill will frazzle the nerves of even the most sensitive ears. There are no massive names on the bill as they rarely book a super-headliner, but this adds to the relaxed atmosphere, avoiding a headlong rush to the mainstage at ten to ten and enabling the promoters to book plenty more interesting bands, running the stylistic gamut from ambience to jazz and post-rock, theatre, comedy and kids entertainers. Acts include Pharoach Sanders, Basement Jaxx, Calexico, David Byrne and Lamb.
