This festival is all about convenience. It's easy to get to and, with the next day a bank holiday, a bit easier to recover from. Get Loaded has slowly built itself up into a fine festival and last year shone thanks to a thrilling set from The Stooges. This year's bill looks as though it might tend towards the dancier end of things with the headline slot filled by reformed ambient techno icons, Orbital. Other acts include Royksopp, Laurent Garnier and Miss Kitten And The Hacker.

lets keep quality music and politics apart. clapham isn't just for locals, its part of london. i fully intend on descending from my luxury north london home to hear some quality music. any more whinging and we should petition the promoters to do it in finsbury park...
