From the pioneers of underground immersive dining comes the ultimate night out for East London's food adventurers: Gingerline HQ. Part hideout, part parallel reality, Gingerline HQ is a clandestine and chameleon dining adventure held in a secret location along the East London Line (or 'ginger line', as they call it). The destination and concept is as mysterious as the menu. Visitors to their past adventures have been thrust into Siberian circuses, dived into submarine mess halls and descended into underground tunnels for Victorian banquets. To take part, hover near any station on the East London Line (London Overground stations between Highbury and Islington and Crystal Palace) at 6pm on the evening of your booking; you'll receive a text message telling you where to go. Once there, you'll be dined and delighted with a welcome cocktail, five courses of delicious seasonal cuisine and a piece of take-home menu art. After being treated to a night of fine food and unexpected pleasures, all diners will be sworn to keep the secrets of the Gingerline safe. Over-18s only.
Dates available until Mar 29.

Had my THIRD Gingerline experince last night and pleased to report that those lovely ladies behind it all did not disappoint. Fabulous evening and delicious food. Vegetarian and Coeliac in our group and both catered for superbly.
A truely unique and amazing experience!!! As a fussy eater I was pleasantly surprised by the deliciously creative food. The atmosphere was lively and highly entertaining and staff were so lovely. Im glad i took the pludge and booked this alternative dining experience i just hope I am able to get tickets again. :)
Food is nice but really overpriced. Entertainment was terrible, service poor. But moreover my friend is allergic to nuts and mentioned this upon booking, but she had to spend a night in a hospital (she did not even finish her starter) as her allergy was not taken seriously. We were very disappointed.
Some times people just don't get it. I get Gingerline and I get it in a big way. Surprised to see a 1* rating from Bill. Must be a mistake because I love this place. That dude clearly meant to rate something else. Anyway, good work Gingerline and I will see you again very soon!
Completely disagree with Bill. I loved every course, thought the food was really beautifully presented and delicious. We were laughing so hard, there were tears at points. I think with this, going in with an open mind and what you put in, you take out. Can't recommend it enough - will be back soon!
Gingerline is magical and unique every time! I have been to a few now and I am always blown away by the attention to detail of the theme and the food too. I can't recommend it enough. The latest theme is my favourite one yet but of course I can't say anything about it! So much more than a meal out, it's an experience that will transport you to a different place for a while and you'll remember it for a very long time... but the only way to find out is to go yourself!
I loved pretty much everything from the moment I walked in. It’s an evening full of surprises; with a brilliant atmosphere, really friendly hosts and wonderful food. I was amazed by all the little details - even down to the menu!
Latest Gingerline was amazing. Have been in the past and this was just as good. Highly recommended. Great food, decor, design and people. A really special night out.
What a fantastic & throughly enjoyable evening at Gingerline. The set and theme were totally magical and the food was excellent. Having a number of severe food allergies I was a little worried about what I would eat, however after informing the Gingerline team about my dietary requirements I was so incredibly surprised at how accommodating they were and I had a throughly enjoyable meal. I would recommend this truly unique dining experience to anybody!
A five star dining treat!! It was a really special event with loads of surprises and delicious food!! I completely recommend it to anyone to loves their food with a sparkle!!!
Fantastic evening, their best event yet, the food was incredible, and the set Was amazing, going from strength to strength.
I went a week ago and the experience and food was amazing. Service is always good and definetly you'll have a good laugh with friend. Highly recommended.
I had a fab evening with friends at Gingerline the other night. Just the right amount of magic and wonder (with yummy food to boot). I would recommend to all who want a quirky interactive dining experience. The attention to detail was great - even down to the toilets! Looking forward to the next 'theme'.
Carola, you got it spot on. Good attempt buy the Gingerline crew to try something new but I was expecting more.
Don't agree with Carola, I went on Thursday night, and was blown away from the moment i walked into Gingerline! I didn't know what to expect at all, but the food and the concept was like nothing I have experienced before and loved every minute. Go in with an open mind, interact with everything and everyone and you will get so much more out of the night. Booked again, going again in January with friends from New York!
Went with the hype and booked to experience Gingerline last night. Food was good but not exciting. The theme wasn't clear. Service can't be faulted though. Not really much in terms of entertainment to be honest. All in all could have got a lot more for my money somewhere else. Disappointed! (everybody I spoke to agreed!)
