Time Out says

At first this raw, low budget, 'realistic' look at a group of King's Cross rent boys (out for revenge on the adults who abused them) seems stylistically clumsy and rather too keen on suggesting its characters' irrepressible energy. As the film proceeds, however, the performances and camerawork become more assured, a few quieter, more reflexive scenes provide some emotional depth and the overall conviction of the piece more or less compensates for the often awkward scripting.
