Time Out says
Unremittingly violent account of a pair of New York cops (one black, one white) assigned to track down three Harlem robbers-cum-murderers. Familiar crime movie characterisations, but as directed by Shear, who made the highly impressive Todd Killings, it's a gutsy affair, given a distinct lift by the Harlem locations; and between the bouts of physical aggression, there are occasional moments of insight into the fraught relationship between Quinn and Kotto.Author: GA
