Time Out says

Unbelievably stupid idea of setting archive footage of the years before and during World War II to the music of the Beatles, performed by an insane assortment of singers accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic. The connections made ('The Fool on the Hill' accompanying shots of Hitler at his mountain retreat in Berchtesgaden) are crushingly crass.

  • I saw this film on TV many years ago. Unlike many other reveiwers I thought it was a great film. I recorded on video but unfortunatly found the video had lost clarity when I tried to transfer a copy to DVD. I have tried everywhere to get a copy on DVD without success (except from the USA). Anyone now here I can get one and/or if any TV channels plan to show it again.
