A young teenage werewolf ( Agnes Bruckner) is torn between honoring her family's secret and her love for a human man (Hugh Dancy), Olivier Martinez also stars in this fantasy thriller. In Bulgaria, the world of weir wolves is a secret society with it's own rules and values. Kept secret to protect the last of their kind, only occasionally do they interact with normal humans. But keeping that sort of control is not easy. Good story, good special effects, well acted, worth watching. 7 out of 10
This is a pretty sad affair. Martinez is the head of a pack of wolves running around Budapest, with Bruckner as his niece and potential future wife...but she has a different idea. There's a prophecy mentioned yet barely explored, all sorts of different accents, some fighting, some kissing...it all adds up to not much. This could be potentially forgiven if the transformation from human to wolf was decent, however it's really not since the transformation is basic CG. Ultimately, this is not really worth the time.
