A virtuoso English flautist (Firth) is lured to Turkey to confront a seductive djinn and a naked devil in order to learn the secret of his father's death. The story, which starts quite sensibly in the Wigmore Hall, London, becomes increasingly cocooned in impenetrable mysticism.
